📤 Upload Your Supporting Documents

If you're submitting qualifications to CAO, here are the steps you need to follow to upload your documents quickly and correctly.

✅ What You Can Upload

You can upload documents that support qualifications listed in Categories 3-7 of the Qualifications and Assessments section, including: You can also choose to upload Advanced Entry supporting documents (if you have applied through the Advanced Entry application process).

❌ What You Cannot Upload

You must not upload: These documents must be submitted by post to CAO, Tower House, Eglinton Street, Galway, Ireland, H91X25V by the relevant deadlines stated in the CAO Handbook.

🚀 How to Upload

  1. Log in to your CAO account and go to My Application
  2. Open the Qualifications and Assessments section
  3. Click Upload Supporting Documents, then select or drag your files
  4. Check for any error messages (e.g. wrong format or size)
  5. Click Refresh Page to confirm your upload
  6. You can delete files from you CAO account shortly after uploading, if needed
  7. You’ll get an email once your documents are submitted
  8. Your uploads will be visible in your account from 17th April.

⏰ Deadline Reminder

Submit your documents within 10 days of registering or by 10 February 2026 at 5pm. Late uploads may slow down processing but will still be added to your account.

🔐 Your Privacy

📜 Keep Your Originals

You may be asked to show original certificates or transcripts to Higher Education Institutions. Not having them could affect your offer or registration.

Please note: If you have successfully uploaded your qualifications documents, please do not send these documents to CAO via post, as this may delay processing of your application.
