Updating Your Examination Data for CAO Offer Rounds 2025

If you're applying through the CAO and need to update your Leaving Certificate, QQI FET, or GCE examination data, it's important to do so within the designated timeframes to be considered for the next offer round e.g. if you wish to be considered for Round 1, you must have updated your LC examination number by the closing date of 18 August at 10:00; to be considered for Round 2, you must have updated your LC examination number by the closing date of 03 September at 12:00, etc.

🛠️ How to Update Your Leaving Certificate/QQI Examination Data:
  1. Log in to your CAO account.
  2. Go to the Qualifications and Assessments section.
  3. Click on 'Modify Details' to update your Leaving Certificate or QQI examination data
If the ‘Modify Details’ option is not visible:
Contact CAO via the Correspondence section of your account and request that the relevant examination category (e.g., Leaving Certificate, QQI FET/FETAC) be added to your application.

GCE Results - Supporting Document Closing Dates

The tables to enter GCE AS/A Level & GCSE Examination Data are now closed.
CAO will add examination data to your application for you upon receipt of valid supporting documents.

If you have received a re-mark please upload or post a document that has been produced by the exam board, and which shows the new grade awarded. See the table above for document cut-off dates.

ONLY evidence of results NOT appearing in your application should be uploaded/posted.
Uploading/posting duplicate documents that are already appearing in your CAO account may delay processing of your application.

Other School Leaving Applicants

If you are an Other School Leaving applicant and you need to supply supporting documents at this time, please post photocopies of your documents to CAO, Tower House, Eglinton Street, Galway, Ireland.
